The team behind the hub
This site is run by a small, independent group of Dota 2 watchers based with Filipino fans in mind. We are not a studio, a sponsor or an official partner of the tournament — just people who wanted a clean, reliable place to track everything about the event in plain English. We watch the same broadcasts you do and read the same announcements, then write up only what has actually been confirmed. The goal is a reference you can trust to keep fact and rumour clearly apart.
Our editorial standard
The rule we hold ourselves to is straightforward: confirmed facts only, with everything else labelled as reported or still unannounced. A tournament generates a flood of speculation, and we would sooner leave a cell blank than fill it with a guess. When the organiser publishes a date, a format change or a prize figure, we update the relevant page and refresh the stamp at the top. When something is not yet known, we say so plainly instead of implying we know more than we do.
We verify against the official Dota 2 channels and well-regarded community trackers, and we cross-check numbers before they go live. Historical figures, such as past prize totals, are presented as widely reported sums rather than to-the-cent records. If we make a mistake, we fix it as soon as we spot it. Getting the detail right matters far more to us than being first to publish.
How the site is funded
The hub is free to read because it is supported through affiliate links. When you use one of our call-to-action buttons to visit SpinBetter and sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That arrangement never shapes the facts we report or the dates and figures on these pages. We suggest SpinBetter as a sportsbook for esports markets, but whether to bet, and how much, is entirely your decision. Please treat any wager as paid entertainment and nothing more.
Independence and trademarks
This is an independent informational website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Valve Corporation, Dota 2, or The International in any way. All trademarks, game names, logos and brand identities referenced here remain the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification and commentary. Nothing on this site should be read as an official communication from the tournament or its organisers.
Betting with care
We take safer gambling seriously. Every content page links to independent support organisations, and our guidance consistently stresses budgets, limits and keeping a sense of proportion. Betting on esports should add to the excitement of an event, never become a way to chase losses. If it stops being fun, we encourage you to step away and reach out to the services listed on our responsible-play page. You must be 18 or older to gamble.
